This policy explains how The Red Carpet (“The Red Carpet”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal information when you visit the-redcarpet.com, use the Red Carpet app, shop with us or apply to sell with us. We operate in the United Arab Emirates.

Depending on how you use our services, we may collect:

• Account details: your name, email address and password, or the name and email shared by Google or Apple when you sign in with them.
• Delivery details: the addresses and phone numbers you save, and the address chosen for each order.
• Orders: the products you buy, prices, discounts, delivery fee, VAT and the status of each order.
• Shopping activity: your bag, wishlist, the brands you follow and your recent searches (searches are kept on your device).
• Payment information: payments are taken by our payment providers (Stripe, Tabby and Tamara). We receive the result of a payment and a reference, never your full card number.
• Device information: a notification token if you allow notifications, the app language and basic technical data such as the app version.
• Usage information: pages and screens viewed and actions such as adding to the bag or completing a purchase.
• Seller applications: the brand, product and contact information and the files that applicants submit.

• To create and manage your account and keep you signed in.
• To process, deliver and support your orders, and to send order updates.
• To take payments through our payment providers and to prevent fraud.
• To send offers and news, only if you have turned them on in the app's notification settings.
• To understand how the website and app are used and to improve them.
• To review seller applications and onboard selected brands.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We use Google Analytics and PostHog to understand how the website and app are used. They receive usage events and technical data. We do not use advertising identifiers and we do not show advertising in the app.

The website uses essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and to keep your bag, and analytics cookies that help us understand general usage. Browser settings can usually be adjusted to manage cookies.

We share information only where needed to provide our services:

• With the brand whose product you bought and with our delivery team, to fulfil your order.
• With our payment providers (Stripe, Tabby, Tamara) to take payments.
• With service providers that host our systems, send notifications and emails, or provide analytics.
• Where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal information.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, such as encrypted connections and restricted access, to protect the information we hold.

We keep account information while your account is open. Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, without your personal details once your account is deleted.

You can view and update your details and saved addresses in your account, and turn notifications on or off at any time.

You can delete your account at any time in the app (More → Delete Account) or on the website at the-redcarpet.com/delete-your-account. Deleting your account removes your profile, addresses, wishlist and followed brands; past orders are kept without your personal details for VAT records.

Our services are not intended for children under 18.
